Dr. Greg Hansen graduated as the top science graduate from Loyola University and completed research in human genetics before pursuing a career as a Senior Consultant in business process and technology. He later earned his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern–Parkland Hospital.
Dr. Hansen has served in key leadership roles within the Emergency Department, including Medical Director, Director of Process Improvement, and physician sepsis liaison. He oversees three high‑volume sites caring for more than 95,000 patients annually and managing over 70 employees, including a robust in‑house scribe program that supports documentation excellence. His contributions have been recognized with three distinguished physician awards, reflecting his commitment to quality care and clinical leadership.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hansen enjoys traveling with his wife and two children and supporting their athletic pursuits.
